RIVERVIEW — A 36-year-old Inkster man who was subject to a traffic stop the night of Oct. 25 on northbound Fort Street near Longsdorf Drive for an expired vehicle registration was cited for failing to have vehicle insurance and for driving with a suspended license.
The vehicle, a 2012 Chevy Malibu, was impounded and towed, and the license plate was removed and later destroyed. The driver and passenger were given a courtesy ride to a local restaurant to arrange further transportation to their destination.
