SOUTHGATE — Police officers collected and removed 15 needle syringes that may have been used for injecting illegal drugs the night of Dec. 7 from the bedroom of an apartment on Pennsylvania Road, where the caller said his nephew was staying.
The man said he went into the room when his nephew was out to clean it because of its filthy condition, and upon entering discovered the sharps. No further actions were taken at the present time.
