TAYLOR — A Dearborn man who filed a report Jan. 12 with the Taylor Police Department said a Taylor man living on Princess Street agreed a month and a half ago to fix his red Toro snowblower but had not completed the work and would not return the equipment.

The victim said he connected with the repairman through Facebook Marketplace.

He said that on Dec. 22, the repair person stopped responding to his phone calls, and when he went to the man’s residence, he would not answer the door, despite the man’s vehicle being in the driveway. He said he also left a note on the door.

He was given a case number for the incident.
