RIVERVIEW — A 36-year-old Southgate man driving his uncle’s car was subject to a traffic stop the night of Dec. 13 on Pennsylvania Road near Ray Street when a police officer noticed that the license plate expired in November.
The driver had a suspended Mississippi driver’s license and did not have a Michigan driver’s license. He also had a traffic warrant with the Allen Park Police Department.
The car was impounded and towed, and the driver declined a courtesy ride home, opting to walk instead.
