HEIGHTS — A vehicle owner reported the attempted theft of his black 2021 Dodge Charger at 3:23 a.m. Jan. 13 from Northmore Drive.
The complainant showed surveillance camera footage of a person dressed in black with white shoes walking up his driveway and tugging on the car’s door handles in an unsuccessful attempt to gain entry.
The suspect arrived in a dark-colored, newer model Dodge Durango.
Fingerprints were collected from the door handles and taken into evidence. In addition, a nearby residence may have captured security camera footage from another perspective.
