DEARBORN — A Garden City woman, who was on probation for assault, was involved in a two-vehicle crash the night of Feb. 5 on Telegraph Road near Lloyd Court was cited for obstructing police and disorderly conduct after she became upset about her car being towed by the city’s tow service and not AAA, which she was told was needed to clear the roadway quickly.
She was also trying to prevent the police officer from performing an inventory search of her vehicle.
The woman then started shouting profanities and racial slurs at the other parties involved in the crash and at the police officers. She also spat on one of the police officers.
The woman was then arrested and taken to the police station where she was held until she was able to provide bond for her release.
