ALLEN PARK — A woman was banned from all metropolitan Detroit Target stores after her 10th reported incident of swapping price stickers from lower priced items onto more expensive goods to get an unauthorized discount at the self-checkout lane.
The woman was held at the loss prevention office until police officers arrived and she was cited for retail fraud. Store personnel provided surveillance camera footage of her swapping price stickers. If she enters an area Target store in the future she could be immediately arrested for trespassing.
