DEARBORN — A driver who called to report a road rage incident the morning of Feb. 25 followed the suspect vehicle until police officers conducted a traffic stop at Wyoming and Michigan avenues and discovered that the driver had active arrest warrants.
The suspect, a Detroit man driving a tan 2002 Dodge Dakota, had a suspended driver’s license, an expired vehicle registration and lacked vehicle insurance.
He also had a misdemeanor warrant for larceny, a criminal bench warrant for failure to appear for a court date for stolen property and two misdemeanor warrants for failure to display a valid license.
The man’s vehicle was impounded and towed, and he was taken into custody.
