LINCOLN PARK – Public Works Director John Kozuh received the City Council’s approval March 23 to submit grant applications to the Michigan Department of Transportation to replace three bridges.
The three locations include Howard Street over the Sexton Kilfoil Drain, and both Frank and Porter streets over the north branch of Ecorse Creek.
Hennessey Engineers and Link Engineering Services will submit the grant applications on behalf of the city to the MDOT Local Critical Bridge Program. Kozuh said there would be no financial impact on the city.
