TAYLOR — A man who was admitted to Corewell Health Hospital in Taylor with a gunshot wound to an extremity the night of April 14 triggered a police investigation, which revealed that he was shot near the intersection of Van Born and Beech Daly roads in Taylor.
The intersection was closed briefly while Taylor, Dearborn Heights and Michigan State police searched for evidence. The investigation is ongoing.
