RIVERVIEW — A Romulus woman reported the night of April 8 that her locked gray Toyota Highlander was broken into and her purse and other items were stolen while she was inside 3DFit Ultimate Fitness Arena, 12425 Nixon Ave.
Among the items stolen were a black Halcyon bag with clothes, shoes and a winter coat, and a brown leather purse with her wallet, which contained her driver’s license, debit card and assorted credit cards.
Gym employees said they would check the surveillance camera footage and would let police officials know if any relevant images of the theft were found.
The woman was able to cancel her cards before any unauthorized activity occurred.
