The Allen Park High School girls competitive cheerleading team was honored at the April 14 City Council meeting for winning the state title in their division for the third consecutive year.

ALLEN PARK – The Allen Park High School girls competitive cheerleading team was honored at the April 14 City Council meeting for winning the state title in their division for the third consecutive year.
The team has earned six state titles in the past seven years, and eight titles overall.
Mayor Gail McLeod congratulated the team and coaches for their outstanding achievement, which she said is a testimony to their hard work, dedication, teamwork and commitment.
The team members are: Daryn Bailey, Julianna Barrett, Claire Barry, Ella Brown, Liliana Carmona, Molly Cone, Delilah Cotton, Makenna Cox, Tiana Ferrence, Savannah Flores, Amelia Foley, Kaylee Gier, Angela Gonzalez, Peyton Keys, Payton Kirby, Mariana Leija-Khalil, Jordynn Morrow, Sophia Ramey, Ava Rice, Isabella Robinet, Annelyse Trevino, Makenna Truran and Samantha Unger.
The team is coached by Julie A. Goodwin, Tina Johnson, Meghan Megill, Carolyn Morris, Faith Ridolfi, Lyric Spears, Jessica Tremonti and Tera Waddell.
