DEARBORN — A Detroit woman was cited for retail fraud the afternoon of April 2 at Target, 15901 Ford Road, after an asset protection employee detained her when she attempted to leave the store with unpaid items with a collective $124 value that were hidden in her purse.
The woman’s theft was captured on store surveillance cameras. She did pay for the items in her shopping cart, but did not render payment for the items concealed in her bag.
She was cited for larceny and advised to contact 19th District Court for an appearance date. The woman was also banned from Target for a one-year period.
