TAYLOR — A representative from Kohl’s, 14500 Racho Road, reported June 9 that two days earlier a woman used four counterfeit $100 bills to purchase $356 worth of Sephora products.
Following up on a similar crime, police officials used Flock camera data to determine that a white Kia Soul used in another counterfeiting action was in the area of the Kohl’s that was victimized.
They then learned that the Troy Police Department had a suspect in custody.
