TAYLOR — A man who was subject to a traffic stop the afternoon of June 9 for running a red light near Eureka and Pardee roads was found to be in the country illegally and was turned over to border patrol for deportation.
The driver, who did not speak English, used a translation app on his phone to communication with the police officer conducting the traffic stop.
The car, a 2014 Kia Optima, was impounded and towed.
