RIVERVIEW — A report of a possible drunken driver the night of June 19 resulted instead in a 49-year-old Trenton woman being cited for driving with a suspended license.
The woman, who was driving a white motorcycle with no license plate, was spotted exiting a liquor store parking lot in the area of Fort Street and Sibley Road. A traffic stop was initiated, and the woman provided an identification card instead of a driver’s license. She said the motorcycle was her son’s and was not registered.
The lack of registration for the motorcycle was verified, as was the woman’s lack of a valid driver’s license.
The woman denied drinking alcohol, which was verified with a preliminary breath test. The motorcycle was then impounded.
