WYANDOTTE — A lightening strike to the roof of a residential house in the 900 block of 9th Street the morning of Aug.10 ignited a fire in the attic area, which firefighters were able to quickly extinguish.
A family of three, who were home at the time, said they heard a loud noise and saw an intense flash of light. They then gathered their pets and exited the house. There were no injuries.
