LINCOLN PARK — A gray 2021 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup was reported stolen the morning of July 6 from the 1500 block of Merrill Avenue.

The vehicle, which was locked, was stolen from its parking spot across the street from the victim’s residence.

His Ring surveillance camera did not capture the theft, but did let him

determine that it occurred between 3:30 a.m. and 4:00 a.m.

He said he is up-to-date on his vehicle payments, and both sets of keys were still in his possession.

An extensive amount of personal property was in the vehicle as well: fishing tackle and gear, power tools, hand tools and work gear.

Other nearby surveillance cameras may have captured footage of the theft. In addition, a Flock camera read the vehicle’s license plate number near the intersection of Dix Highway and the I-75 freeway shortly after it was stolen.
