TAYLOR — The Taylor Public School Foundation for Educational Excellence will be host its third annual Wall of Fame Gala next spring.
An appointed committee of Taylor School Board members, school administrators and foundation board members will again select up to three individuals who have made a significant contribution to the Taylor School District and or to the Taylor community in the upcoming months.
Past honorees were John Pantalone and Loren Ristovski in 2025 and Caroline Patts and Ken Nelson in 2026.
The foundation is accepting nominations for individuals to be honored. The nomination applications can be found on the Taylor Education Foundation at taylorschoolsfoundation.org.
The deadline for the application is Nov. 30.
The gala is not only an opportunity to honor individuals who have made a significant contribution to Taylor schools and the community; it also directly supports educators and students.
Money raised through the gala is awarded to educators in the form of grants to support innovative school and classroom projects that are not funded through the district’s regular budget. These grants provide educators with resources and opportunities that enhance learning and make a difference in the educational experience of our students.
Last year, the foundation awarded $25,000 in grants to 25 educators, helping to bring classroom projects and educational ideas to life. The organization hopes to expand this impact in 2027.
The Taylor Public School Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting Taylor Public Schools and its students, educators and programs.
The foundation is always seeking individuals who are interested in making a difference in our community by serving on the board of directors. Board members help plan, coordinate and support fundraising events and other foundation activities while working to strengthen educational opportunities for Taylor students.
The organization welcomes community members who are willing to share their time, talents, ideas and connections in support of our schools.
