COUCH THEATER — DVD PREVIEWS
By DNA Smith PICKS OF THE WEEK “The Waltons Seasons 1 and 2” Boxed Set — Y’know, as much as I love sci-fi, horror and cheesy action flicks, I’m still a sucker for great television, and in 1971 one of the best-written, superbly acted television programs of the decade debuted. “The Waltons” was and is one of my all-time favorite shows. By Jill Jackson HOLLYWOOD ... “Love Don’t Let Me Down” is the title of Gwyneth Paltrow’s upcoming film. It’s about a fallen country singer who becomes involved with a singer-songwriter. The film also stars country-music singer Tim McGraw. That’s about all I know about it at the moment. But what I do know is that Gwyneth has a good life with loving husband Chris Martin and beautiful kids Apple and Moses.
