Neighboring businesses burglarized
WYANDOTTE — Two commercial burglaries took place at adjacent buildings Monday. Quint Plumbing and Heating, 4144 Sixth, and Temperature Control, 4105 Seventh, were burglarized sometime during the night before 7 a.m. Monday. In both instances the suspect cut the lock to the gates and entered company vans on the business lots. Three work vehicles were broken into on the Quint lot. The suspect broke out the side glass doors of all them and stole $20,000 worth of power tools inside. Store grant to help fingerprint children
TAYLOR — The Police Department will use a $1,500 grant from the Taylor Target store to expand its child fingerprinting system. Mayor Cameron Priebe, the City Council and top department officials recently recognized the store for providing the grant.
