RIVERVIEW — Police still are seeking a man for an armed robbery about noon Tuesday at Advance America Credit Union, 19200 Fort. New requirements passed for land preserve

New permit conditions were imposed by the Wayne Count Department of Environment, or DOE, to allow the preserve to comply with the Wayne County Storm Water Ordinance. Famed Downriver boxer dies
MELVINDALE — Former Kronk Gym boxer Mickey Goodwin died of a stroke earlier this week. Goodwin, 51, was found dead at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the house he shared with his mother. At first it was believed that he had died from a beating, but an autopsy revealed he suffered a stroke and fell down the stairs. Goodwin was trained by Kronk founder Emanuel Stewart and was a big draw for the gym. A dealership employee told police the woman, 33, of Farmington Hills, returned only one of the two sets of keys given to her.
