  Resident, non-resident pool tags available DEARBORN – Dearborn’s outdoor pool season begins May 27 with the opening of Dunworth and Ford Woods Pools. Dunworth Pool will offer open swimming weekdays from 4 to 7 p.m., and weekends and holidays from noon to 6 p.m. through June 15. From June 16 to 18, Dunworth Pool will host the prestigious U.S.S. Swim Meet, and consequently, will not have open swimming these three days. Spectators are welcome. Dearborn police seek assistance in locating missing juvenile

DEARBORN – Police are asking the public for assistance in locating a juvenile female who reportedly left her home and was last seen in the area of Carlysle and Telegraph during the early morning hours of May 16. Arianna Burch is a 13-year-old female. She is approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighs 125 pounds and has long braids that reach the middle of her back with blue beads on the ends. SUV vandalized near school

Wrench shoplifter stopped

By SUE SUCHYTA Sunday Times Newspapers ALLEN PARK — A man who attempted to steal two 7-piece ratchet wrench sets, collectively valued at $100, from Lowe’s Home Improvement, 23111 Outer Drive, on April 28 was stopped by loss prevention personnel after being surveilled.  The man removed the wrenches from the packaging and wrapped them inside his coat, which he placed in the seating area of his shopping cart. Annual Dearborn High student WDHS Film Festival returns May 19-20

DEARBORN — The public is invited to attend the annual WDHS Film Festival on May 19 and 20 at Dearborn High School to see award winning student productions.
