Drunken man gets stuck on train tracks

By SUE SUCHYTA Sunday Times Newspapers RIVERVIEW — A 20-year-old Rockwood man was arrested for operating while impaired and resisting an officer at 1:08 a.m. July 27 after his father’s gray Ford Mustang that he was driving became stuck on the railroad tracks near Riverview Drive and Ford Avenue. The man failed standardized field sobriety tests. Man selling motorcycle scammed

Child threatened on school bus

Shoplifter steals gift bags to facilitate theft

By SUE SUCHYTA Sunday Times Newspapers ALLEN PARK — An employee of Dollar General, 5700 Allen Road, reported that a shoplifter ran out of the store with two store gift bags filled with additional unknown merchandise.  The shoplifter was described as a Black male in his twenties with a short Afro, who was wearing a camo hoodie. House lightning strike ignites fire
