DEARBORN Neighbors suspected in break-in A man believes some neighbors may be responsible for a burglary at his house in the 24600 block of Calvin Aug. 28 that left the victim without his newly purchased 42-inch TV and a $15,000 wristwatch. Armed robber enters house A woman and her mother-in-law were robbed at gunpoint inside their house in the 6200 block of Reuter about midnight Aug. 20. The robber made off with the women’s purses – which contained no cash, but did have credit cards and personal identifications – as well as a laptop and wall charger. Allen Park Purse grabbed A purse containing checks, credit cards and $500 cash was stolen from a 62-year-old woman unloading her car at 1 a.m. Tuesday morning. The car was parked in the driveway of her house in the 17000 block of Moore. A man grabbed her from behind, placed an unknown object against her right temple, and told her to get to the ground. Lincoln Park Van occupants suspected in parking lot thefts The same two people are suspected of the Monday thefts from two vehicles parked in the northwest corner of the parking lot at Kroger, 2060 Dix. Surveillance video shows a white man in his mid-20s to early 30s committing the thefts and getting into a purple Chrysler or Ford minivan driven by a heavyset white woman. Dearborn Car left on cinder blocks in hospital garage The wheels from a 2009 Lincoln MKX were stolen at Oakwood Hospital & Medical Center at about 3:15 p.m. Aug. 5.
