A police officer on patrol saw the man run red lights at Military and Nowlin streets while driving east on Michigan Avenue at a high rate of speed. The rentals were offered on Facebook Marketplace, to fraudulently secure deposits from renters. The customer who passed the counterfeit bill was described as a heavyset black male, approximately 30 years old.
