By Daniel Gretzner Dearborn Heights Annapolis High School played three Division 2 baseball tournament games during the past week, winning both of their regional games, before falling in the state quarterfinals. The Cougars captured the Livonia Ladywood regional crown Saturday by posting shutouts over Detroit Renaissance (1-0) and Ferndale (3-0). Divine Child star drafted by Indians
By Daniel Gretzner Eric Haase, who has had a sensational season at Dearborn Divine Child, was selected in the seventh round of the Major League Baseball draft last week. The DC catcher has signed with Ohio State on a athletic scholarship, giving him a possibility of playing college ball or heading for the professional ranks. Haase was one of nine seniors on the Falcon varsity roster and can also play third base and pitch.
