Dearborn Persian rugs taken in burglary More than $11,000 in high living accoutrements was taken in a burglary in the 7000 block of Bingham between 1 and 9 p.m. July 29. Among the missing items are two Persian rugs valued at $5,000; a $4,500 Rolex watch, 10 men’s suits, a digital camcorder and a laptop computer. The homeowner called police when he arrived at his house and found the back door and a bedroom window open, knowing he had shut them when he left. Dearborn Car stolen out of dealer garage A 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer was stolen by two men posing as car buyers from a service garage at Superior Nissan, 15101 Michigan, about 5:30 p.m. July 15. A sales representative told police he showed the men the vehicle, turned on the engine for them and then left them alone while he took the key back to the front desk.
