Computer collection event July 18

The Wayne County Department of Environment and Goodwill Industries of Greater Detroit will hold a collection event for computer and computer peripheral waste from 8 a.m. to noon July 18 at Henry Ford Centennial Library,16301 Michigan Ave. in Dearborn.
The event is open to all Wayne County residents.
Another collection event will be offered from 8 a.m. to noon Sept. 12, at Livonia City Hall East Lot, 33000 Civic Center Drive.
Acceptable items are computer monitors and CPUs, keyboards and mouse devices, printers, copiers, scanners, cell phones and fax machines. Boxes, manuals, software and televisions will not be accepted.
