ALLEN PARK Man arrested for retail fraud Police were dispatched to Home Depot, 3163 Fairlane Drive for a retail fraud incident with the suspect in custody Dec. 18. The store’s Loss Prevention Officer said he observed the man enter the store, walk toward the hardware section, select multiple items from the shelf and place them into his cart. ALLEN PARK Woman arrested for driving with intoxicated While on patrol, police observed a red Dodge Nitro traveling north near Quandt Avenue, and as the vehicle was followed it began drifting side to side Dec. 7. The Dodge also was unable to maintain proper lane positioning while on the road. A check of the license plate prompted a traffic stop. Dearborn Cash stolen from unlocked car A thief ransacked an unlocked car between 3 and 6 a.m. Dec. 18 in the 3600 block of Heritage Parkway, taking $20 in rolled quarters from the glovebox. ALLEN PARK Vehicle stolen from Target parking lot Police officers were dispatched to Target, 3100 Fairlane Drive, on a report of a stolen vehicle. The loss prevention officer said that about 4:30 p.m. he was advised of a suspicious man in the parking lot trying to open car doors Nov. 20.
