Monthly test of Dearborn’s early warning sirens takes place at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 1

August 1, 2009 By Times-Herald Newspapers Leave a Comment

Dearborn – The city’s early warning sirens will be tested at 1 p.m. Saturday. The sirens are tested at 1 p.m. on the first Saturday of each month.
The test lasts three minutes. Residents are advised not to call 911 to report the sirens during normally-scheduled testing times; doing so could make it harder for someone with an emergency to call 911.
