Many free outdoor music concerts in Dearborn to enjoy over the next few weeks

DEARBORN, Mich. – You can enjoy many free outdoor music concerts in Dearborn over the next few weeks. It’s a great way to have some affordable, family-friendly fun. Here’s the complete list of upcoming concerts:
· A special evening of free music and fireworks will be offered on Thursday, Sept. 3, at Ford Field Park. Fifty Amp Fuse will be in concert at 7:30 p.m. and a spectacular fireworks display will follow at 9 p.m. This is the “makeup” date for the concert and fireworks which were rained out on the final night of Dearborn’s Homecoming festival.
· The Kimmie Horn Show on Thursday, Aug. 20, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at The Ritz-Carlton. Entrance and parking are free. Part of the “Motown in the Courtyard” concert series. For more, call 313.441.2000.
· The Henry Ford Community College Jazz Band at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 20, at Schemansky Park. Part of the Music Under The Stars concert series. For more, visit www.cityofdearborn.org.
· The Cleary Quartet on Friday, Aug. 21, from 7-9:30 p.m. at Muirhead Plaza, located next to Bryant Branch Library (corner of Michigan Avenue and Mason). Part of the concert series sponsored by the West Dearborn Downtown Development Authority (WDDDA). For more, visit www.dearbornwestonline.com.
· The Brothers Groove from 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 26, in City Hall Park. It’s the final concert in the “Jazz on the Ave” series, presented by the East Downtown Development Authority and Smooth Jazz V 98.7.
· KGB on Thursday, Aug. 27, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at The Ritz-Carlton. Entrance and parking are free. Part of the “Motown in the Courtyard” concert series.
· Fifty Amp Fuse on Thursday, Aug. 27, at 7:30 p.m. at Dearborn Hills Golf Course. It’s the final concert in the Music Under The Stars series.
· Thornetta Davis from 6-9 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 28, at Muirhead Plaza, located next to Bryant Branch Library (corner of Michigan Avenue and Mason). It’s the final concert in the WDDDA series.
· Desire on Thursday, Sept. 10, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at The Ritz-Carlton. Entrance and parking are free. Part of the “Motown in the Courtyard” concert series.
· The Kimmie Horn Show on Thursday, Sept. 17, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at The Ritz-Carlton. Entrance and parking are free. It’s the final concert in the “Motown in the Courtyard” series.
