DEARBORN – Residents ages 50 and older are invited to attend two meetings of the Dearborn Travel Club Thursday and Oct. 8.
The Dearborn Travel Club offers a variety of affordable travel opportunities for Dearborn residents ages 50 and up.
Thursday’s meeting features a presentation from the Dearborn Police Department concerning crime prevention and travel safety awareness for senior citizens. It begins at 7 p.m. in the Henry Ford Centennial Library, 16301 Michigan Ave.
The Oct. 8 meeting will present the Travel Club’s schedule of upcoming trips in 2010. Trips by air, rail and motorcoach bus will be previewed, tour operators will be on hand and refreshments will be available, courtesy of Fidelity Bank of Dearborn. Door prizes will also be awarded.
The Oct. 8 meeting begins at 7 p.m. in the Henry Ford Centennial Library.
