November 7, 2009 By Times-Herald Newspapers Leave a Comment

DEARBORN – The current supply of seasonal flu vaccine at the Health Department has been depleted. Shots will be offered again if and when further supplies are obtained, officials said.

The Health Department is located in the west end of Henry Ford Centennial Library, 16301 Michigan Ave.

When the shots are available again the cost for the seasonal flu vaccine will be covered for people with Medicare Part B.
For those without Medicare Part B, the cost for a flu shot will be $15 for senior citizens (age 65 and older), $40 for adults ages 18 to 64, and $10 for children ages six months to 18 years. Payment can be made in cash or by charge.

For more details, call the Health Department at (313) 943-2090.
