Free seminar to discuss impact of risk and taxes on retirement

DEARBORN  –  DFCU Financial will offer a special free seminar titled“Essentials of Retirement Planning and the Impact of Risk and Taxes on Retirement Income” at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Dearborn.

The featured speaker will be Kurt Wuestenberg, vice president, American Funds Distributors, Inc. The seminar is part of DFCU’s continued commitment to education, company officials say.

Wuestenberg is a chartered mutual fund counselor with 20 years of experience in financial services.  Also presenting will be Marty Talty, president of the certified public accounting firm Kopmeyer & Talty P.C. of Livonia.       Talty will discuss the implication of taxes on retirement and address the 2010 changes to the Roth IRA.
