Protesters outside Dearborn City Hall April 6 call for the liberation of south Yemen from the current Republic of Yemen. Protesters, most of them Yemenis from the south end of both Dearborn and Yemen, said that since the country was unified in 1990, northern political interests have subjugated southern Yemenis and availed themselves to the abundant resources of the south.
