Saeed Siddique, a server assistant at Giulio & Sons at the Hyatt Regency-Dearborn for 24 years, was named the Michigan 2010 Food & Beverage Employee of the Year recently by the Michigan Lodging and Tourism Association.
Siddique was one of 12 people honored at the MLTA’s Stars of the Industry awards dinner May 6 at the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island during the Governor’s Conference On Tourism.
Siddique has been nominated Giulio & Sons employee of the month more than 20 times and was named 2002 Employee of the Year. He volunteers to provide training to new associates, and has had the highest performance ratings for his position over his 24 years at the Hyatt.
He is married with three children.
