The Allen Park 2010 Relay for Life, sponsored by the American Cancer Society, raised $43,670 with the help of 34 teams and 438 participants. It ran from 10 a.m. May 15 to 10 a.m. last Sunday at Millward Rotary Park in Allen Park. The top three teams and their earnings were Cabrini Middle School, $9,149; Pippin’s Peeps, $6,141; and Team Kaffenberger, $4,422. Top participant fundraisers were Linda Smith, $1,732; Gene and Lisa Marie Kaffenberger, $1,539; and Angie and Mary Anne Serpetti, $1,141.
