Local artist Janet Kondziela paints a deep-dish pizza Friday at Buddy’s Pizzeria, 22148 Michigan Ave. The finished product will be displayed next year at the Padzieski Art Gallery as part of an exhibit titled “Dearborn Paints — Good Food!” The exhibit was made possible by a grant from the Dearborn Community Fund and will showcase signature dishes from some of the city’s most popular restaurants and food markets, including LaPita, Leon’s Family Dining, O’Sushi’s, Westborn Fruit and Flower Market and Alcamo’s.
