Party on the Patio supports three Dearborn institutions

August 14, 2010 By Times-Herald Newspapers Leave a Comment

DEARBORN — Double Olive will be the site of Party on the Patio from 5 to 8 p.m. Aug. 26 to benefit three institutions in the city.

The $5 admission charge enables participants to enjoy drink specials and free pizza. Guest bartenders from the Dearborn Fire Department will mix drinks while Dan Mazur will provide entertainment.

Proceeds will go to the Dearborn Firefighters Burn Drive, the Dearborn Education Foundation, which supports Dearborn Public Schools, and the Dearborn Chamber of Commerce, a 500-plus member organization that helps local small and large businesses.

“This is a relaxed way to support such valuable, charitable services,” Double Olive general manager Steve Guibord said.
