August 21, 2010 By Times-Herald Newspapers Leave a Comment

DEARBORN — The Dearborn Public Schools Education Foundation will host its annual golf outing at 1 p.m. Oct. 3 at the TPC of Michigan.

The $225 cost ($800 for a foursome) includes 18 holes of golf with cart, lunch at the clubhouse before the event (or at the turn), and a buffet dinner. An auction will be held at the dinner.

Lunch and dinner are available for nongolfers for $35 and $60, respectively.

Check-in is at 11 a.m. with lunch preceding the shotgun start.

The foundation is a nonprofit organization independent of the Board of Education that raises money to fund items for the schools not covered by the budget.

“Our focus for this year’s fundraiser will be classroom equipment and technology,” foundation executive director Eddie N. Fakhoury said.
