HEIGHTS — Petrusha Family Dentistry is collecting canned food to donate this holiday season to Capuchin Soup Kitchen in Detroit.
Each can donated by patients and the public will be matched by the dental practice. To further celebrate this season of giving, Dr. Dale Petrusha and staff also will volunteer their time to serve food to those who visit the soup kitchen.
Petrusha Family Dentistry has been serving the Dearborn Heights community since 1987 and Petrusha is grateful for this opportunity to give back. They have participated with the Toys for Tots for the past 10 years and are active with the Goodfellows program.
Throughout the year, Petrusha donates his time each month to treat two patients who are referred to his office from both the Tri-County Dental Society and Salvation Army.
Those interested in having their food donations doubled by participating in the drive may drop off items at 25908 Ford Road in Dearborn Heights by Dec. 23. Call (313) 277-0050 to inquire about acceptable items.
