DEARBORN – A 17-year-old Detroit boy was charged Dec. 13 with felonies of murder and armed robbery of a resident.

Kevin Gresham faces life without parole in prison and life or any term of years for the two charges stemming from the death of 39-year-old Hassan Abdallah.

Abdallah, a father of four who owned a car wash on Livernois Avenue, had followed a former co-worker to the 16000 block of Baylis Street in Detroit late Dec. 2 to purchase a television from another person. He was found dead early Dec. 3 in his parked car with a gunshot wound to the head and his money missing.

Gresham is being held on a $900 cash bond and is scheduled to appear in 36th District Court tomorrow for a preliminary examination of the evidence against him.
