Adorable Addison
Addison is a young male American shorthair. He came to the pound as a stray with a serious ear infection, but it is clearing up. He is very affectionate and loves to eat.


Rafferty needs room
Rafferty is an adult male American shorthair. He is a little shy being in a strange noisy environment. He is sweet and would love a chance to roam a home.

Butler loves people
Butler is an adult male pit/Staffordshire bull terrier mix. He loves to go on walks and is good on a leash and very friendly. He likes children and other dogs but tends to chase cats.

Please check community breed laws before applying, as many do not allow certain breeds. Dog adoption fees are $85 and cat adoption fees are $60 (both in cash). Fees include spaying or neutering, first distemper vaccine and a rabies vaccine if the animal is old enough. The Wyandotte Animal Pound is at 1170 Grove, west of 11th Street. Adoption hours are 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday.
