Chief Financial Credit Union names new branch manager

June 27, 2011 By Times-Herald Newspapers Leave a Comment

Fatima Taha

DEARBORN — Fatima Taha was named branch manager of Chief Financial Credit Union’s Dearborn branch recently.

Taha, a lifelong Dearborn resident, has eight years experience in the credit union industry.

“My goal is to continue to provide exceptional service and build a strong membership base for Chief Financial,” she said. “With my friendly and knowledgeable staff, we are ready to help you reach your financial success. My dedication doesn’t just stop with Chief Financial and its members; it is also to the great community of Dearborn.”

The credit union is a member of the Dearborn Chamber of Commerce, and Taha said she looks forward to volunteering her time planning and attending events, as well as building relationships throughout the community.

Chief Financial members are required to retain a minimum savings balance of $5. Membership includes free checking, free online banking with bill pay, debit/ATM cards, money market accounts and CDs, discounts on auto insurance, mobile phone service, financial planning and more.

“I know what you are thinking,” Taha said. “‘How can Chief Financial offer loan rates and fees so much lower than my bank?’ A bank’s No. 1 responsibility is to its stockholders, to maximize profits. Chief Financial is owned by its members.”

She said auto loan rates are as low as 2.99 percent, and signature loan rates as low as 4.99 percent.

Chief Financial is at 4080 Schaefer.
