Donnellys celebrate 65 years of marriage

Harold and Norma Donnelly

Harold and Norma Donnelly celebrated their 65th Wedding Anniversary June 22, 2011.

They were married in Detroit at St. Francis De Sales Church on June 22, 1946 a year after Harold returned from serving in World War II. They purchased and moved into their home in Dearborn in 1948 where they currently reside.

Harold and Norma have seven children, Linda, Diane, Cheryl, Patricia, Karen, Danny and Terry. They also have 18 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and their 18th and 19th great grandchildren are on the way. They attribute their long-lasting marriage to a strong love for each other and never going to bed angry.
