Quidditch teams from Michigan State University and Oakland University compete in a match July 15 in front of The Henry Ford, 20900 Oakwood Blvd., to promote the release of the new “Harry Potter” move. The sport is an adaptation of the game played in the films. William Parr from Michigan State (above, second from left) tries to “capture” Joseph Hackney from the Eastern Michigan University team (below), who was serving as the “golden snitch.” Capturing the snitch ends the game. MSU won the match 210-50. At right, seventh-graders from Discovery Camp at The Henry Ford play a match following the MSU-OU match.
