ALLEN PARK – It’s street fair time again.
A beloved tradition is back, as the 30th annual Allen Park Arts and Craft Street Fair kicks off Friday with crafters, food, fun and music downtown.
In addition to crafters and 14 food vendors serving up everything from doughnuts to cheese steaks, the fair, which runs through Saturday, also will host local bands.
Entertainment Friday will begin at 3 p.m. with Wyandotte pop cover band The Stale Crackers. Step-In-Line will follow at 5 p.m. and local favorites Fifty Amp Fuse will close the show at 7 p.m.
Saturday will feature danceable Motown, swing and classic rock by Little Davy and the Diplomats at 3 p.m. and country quartet Annabelle Road at 7 p.m. At 6:45 p.m., the Festivities Commission will announce its scholarship awards recipients.
A free shuttle will pick up fairgoers at City Hall and drop them off at Marshall Music, 6500 Al-len Road.
