Volunteers needed to help deliver food for city’s Meals on Wheels program
There is a big need for volunteers to help deliver food to residents who receive meals through the city’s Meals on Wheels program.
The number of current volunteer drivers is low; more drivers are needed.
Volunteers deliver meals using their own vehicles each weekday morning. Volunteers can choose to deliver meals every day, or to only deliver on a particular day once a week or even once a month. All deliveries are inside the city limits.
To volunteer, call the Meals on Wheels volunteer coordinator at 313-943-2009.
