DEARBORN — The Chase Bank at 7301 Wyoming was robbed about 10 a.m. March 1, police said.

An unknown man, described as black and between 5 feet 8 inches and 6 feet tall, allegedly handed a teller a note requesting money.

After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, he left in an unknown direction, possibly on foot. The suspect was described as wearing a black hat, black jeans, and a heavy black winter coat and glasses.

Police Chief Ronald Haddad said he needs the public’s help in finding the suspect.

“These are the type of incidents that call for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects,” he said.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Dearborn Police Department tip line at 313-943-3012.
